When you make an appointment at Hair and Beauty we ask you to provide us with a few personal details in order for us to give you an excellent service including contacting you about your appointment, our services and any products you order from us.

Because you trust us with this information and because your data privacy matters to us, it’s only right that you know why we need it, where it’s stored and what we do with it.

Who holds my data?

Hair and Beauty is a trading name of Miles Bramwell Executive Services Limited. We are committed to protecting your privacy and take our responsibility for looking after your personal information extremely seriously.

What personal information do you hold about me?

When you contact us to make an appointment we ask you to provide us with a few personal details including:

  • Name and address
  • Email and telephone number – we will ask you for your preferred method of contact
  • Occupation
  • Relevant medical information
  • Gender
  • Age group
  • Birthday – there are some treatments that aren’t suitable for people under 13.

What do you use my personal information for?

We use your personal information to manage your appointments with us and – in very rare cases – to contact you if we need to change or cancel your appointment. We will also use your personal information to administer any products you order from us.

We will ask you if you’d like to be excluded from:

  • our appointment reminder service
  • marketing emails which notify you of any special offers or promotional events we are holding

We don’t store any of your personal financial details including bank/credit card numbers and we don’t send any marketing information to clients who are under the age of 18.

Who has access to my information?

Your personal information can only be accessed by Hair & Beauty employees to ensure we provide an excellent, personalised service for you.

We won’t ever share your data with any other outside organisation unless you say we can. We won’t send you unrelated marketing material and we certainly won’t give your information away to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Is my personal information secure with you?

Yes. Hair and Beauty has primary responsibility for keeping your data safe and sound and we are committed to making sure that your information is secure. All information relating to your personal information as a client of Hair and Beauty is stored on secure servers within the United Kingdom and the European Union.

How long will my personal information be kept for?

Your personal information will be kept by Hair and Beauty for as long as you are a client. We’ll keep hold of your information for a maximum of 12 months after you last attend an appointment in case you decide to return to us – your information will then be removed from our system.

We will only contact you if we have your consent and within 12 months of your last appointment.


You also provide us with personal information when you access our website. We use this information along with your activity on the site to ensure you receive a more personalised and relevant service, and that we can help you with any queries or requests you send us. As part of providing those services to you, we also collect your IP address, device details and browsing history.

You might spot the ‘accept cookie’ message across the Hair and Beauty website. Cookies store limited amounts of information about you so that the website remembers you and to help us show you content we think you’ll like or benefit from. You can choose to accept or decline Cookies. If you decide to decline them you may not get the very best out of the website.

Apps and devices

When you download or use our Hair and Beauty app on your mobile device, information may be accessed from or stored to your device. This information is used in a similar way to a web browser cookie, such as enabling the app to store a little bit of information about you while you’re using the app, or, in some instances, to make your next visit even easier for you.

Your web browser or device may also provide Hair and Beauty with information about your device, such as a device identifier or IP address. Device identifiers may be collected automatically, such as the device ID, IP address, MAC address, IMEI number and app ID (a unique identifier relating to the particular version of the app you’re running).

When you sign in to the Hair and Beauty app, your sign-in details may be stored securely on the device so you can access other Hair and Beauty apps on the same device without needing to enter your sign-in details again.

If you have any concerns about the information which might be accessed from or stored on your device by Hair and Beauty, you should consider only accessing our content through a web browser on your PC or laptop.
